Day 15
Paducah, KY to Elizabethtown, KY
202 mi, 5 hrs
After another great quilt show, we hit the road for a hideously horrible anxiety-producing day where everything seemed to go wrong. From scary bridges to giant potholes to a flat tire, vomiting dog, and winds gusting to 25, well you get the picture. We looked for several hours for a campground, just wanting to stop early and wait another day to get on the road until we landed here at Crossroads Campground. Yeah! I think, wifi! Well, sure but then I look on my kodak site where I downloaded my pictures of the show - can't find them. The camera? Not there. What the heck is going on ? Jeff is dealing with the flat so I'll wait until he can take a look.
In the meantime, we loved the show. I took a class on machine quilting which was helpful and Jeff went to a woodworking thingy in town. We visited the quilt museum which had a retrospective of the past 25 years of the show where they had every Best of Show quilt on display. V. cool.
Now, how will I justify visiting the two fabric stores in Elizabethtown after the flat is fixed? hmmmmm
